The Archer was officially unveiled in Bydgoszcz on October 18, 1910, during a ceremony celebrating Aronsohn's 60th birthday. Initially placed near the Municipal Theatre, the statue's bold, naked form sparked lively debates in the conservative society of the time. Despite calls to replace it with a more modest statue, The Archer remained, becoming a symbol of artistic freedom and resilience.
